Preamble

This By-Law, henceforth referred to as "The By-Law," pertains to the matter of grade skipping within Kalaimagal Tamil School ("the School"). It has undergone thorough deliberation by the Board of Directors in response to parental requests regarding the possibility of grade advancement.

Section 1: Determination of Curriculum Duration

The Board of Directors, having conducted an extensive examination of the school curriculum for each grade, hereby asserts its strong conviction that the acquisition of requisite skills and knowledge necessitates a duration of no less than 30 to 32 weeks.

Section 2: Prohibition of Grade Skipping

In light of the aforementioned curriculum evaluation, the Board of Directors hereby resolves and officially communicates that, henceforth, no form of grade skipping or fast-track advancement shall be permitted within Kalaimagal Tamil School.

Section 3: Placement of New Students

Upon the enrollment of a new student to Kalaimagal Tamil School, the School shall conduct an assessment to determine the student's current academic level. Subsequent to this assessment, the student shall be placed in the appropriate grade. It shall be the student's responsibility to complete 32 weeks of coursework during the academic year, meeting all requisite criteria, before progressing to the next grade.

This By-Law shall take effect immediately upon approval by the Board of Directors and shall remain in force until duly amended or repealed.
